The team at WP Engine has looked at your plugin and has noticed that it still requires `exec()` functionality to do database dumps. We disable `exec()` in our environment for security reasons. For a full list of functions we disable, check this out:

So, unless you have a build that does not leverage `exec()`, your plugin & service is actually not fully compatible with our platform at this time. Hope that helps!

I was in touch with Ben and explained that we have 2 services, iControlWP for managing websites, and a separate, but integrated, WordPress backup service called WorpDrive. It’s the WorpDrive backup system that currently doesn’t work on WP Engine, but the iControlWP and WordPress Management is fully supported.
