Payment Processor: Stripe

iControlWP has partnered with Stripe for all client payments processing.

Currencies supported with iControlWP and Stripe

At this time, iControlWP supports payments in 3 currencies:

1. US Dollar ($)
2. Great British Pounds (£)
3. Euros (€)

Stripe only provides its customers with the ability to process online payments.

Stripe does not own or hold information about the goods/services you have ordered or their delivery status, and cannot provide refunds or cancel your order for you.

How does Stripe & iControlWP work together?

1. A customer visits iControlWP and decides to subscribe to the service.
2. The customer will then proceed through iControlWP‘s checkout process.
3. When you enter your credit card / payment details, these are automatically sent directly to Stripe for processing.
4. Note, they are never sent to iControlWP.
5. If the payment details are validated, Stripe will send back to iControlWP and unique special token which we store.
6. This special token, alongside our private authentication token for Stripe, allows us to bill your credit card for the value you have allowed.
7. All this allows you to submit your payment details to Stripe so that we may use them, without ever leaving iControlWP

How do recurring payments work?

Stripe’s recurring payment service, enables our customers to make online subscriptions to our products.

With that same token we received (outlined in the previous section) we will attempt to charge your credit card details on-file with Stripe. Again, we never see or receive your payment details directly… we just use the special token that Stripe sent us.

About Payment and Order Confirmation

When you submit your payment details, the Stripe payment service will request authorisation from your Card Issuer and carry out any fraud screening checks the online store may have set up.

Depending on the outcome of the authorisation request, you will see receive a successful or a failed message which will confirm the result of your transaction.

If your payment has been successful, iControlWP will be immediately notified and we will contact you to confirm your order.
