Google Safe Browsing Integration For WordPress

In an effort to simplify your website security, we’ve integrated the Google Safe Browsing API directly into iControlWP.

This means that if your site is detected as being flagged by Google’s Safe Browsing system, you’ll be notified immediately.

What is Google Safe Browsing?

It’s simple and probably best described by Google themselves:

Our security team built Safe Browsing to identify unsafe websites and notify users and webmasters so they can protect themselves from harm. By providing details about the threats we detect and the warnings we show, we hope to shine some light on the state of web security and encourage safer web security practices.

This means that if a website you own or manage is detected as having a threat or malware installed, we’ll find out and notify you immediately.

We run these checks approximately once every 3-4 hours so you’ll learn about a compromised site very quickly indeed.

To get started, you need to do… absolutely nothing.
