You’ll have noticed in the screenshots for the smart groups the option to list ‘Favourite Sites’.
What are favourite WordPress sites in Woprit and how do you set them?
What is a Favourite iControlWP Site?
Simply put, a favourite site is one that you have personally marked as a website that stands out from the rest.
That WordPress site can stand out from the rest for whatever reason, it doesn’t matter. What is important, is that it stands out for you.
It’s easy to mark these sites as favourites, and then to refer to them later in your bulk actions and management of your sites.
How to mark a WordPress site as a favourite in iControlWP
When you are reviewing/managing a particular site you’ll see a little star icon beside the name. If this star is yellow, it’s a favourite, and if it’s grey, it’s not.

How to use the favourites group to manage your sites
So far there are 2 main areas to help you manage just your favourite sites:
- Bulk Actions – where you can perform the same task upon groups of sites without having to even look at them
- All Sites View – so you can list summaries of your sites to help you get a picture of your WordPress network and what actions need performed.
You can apply bulk actions to just your favourite sites, or, when selecting your sites to manage, you can list just those sites you’ve chosen as favourites.
